Elden Ring reaches estimated 2 billion dollars in revenue

According to reports from Alinea Analytics, the FromSoftware title Elden Ring has surpassed 2 billion dollars in revenue, with approximately 36.4 million copies sold across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. The figures do not include a potential Nintendo Switch 2 version.

While Steam leads in total volume with 50% of copies sold, console platforms (PlayStation at 35% and Xbox at 15%) account for 57.5% of total revenue. This discrepancy is attributed to regional pricing strategies on PC; for example, in China, where 17.4% of copies were sold, the price is 26% lower than in the United States.

Engagement remains high four years after launch, with over 9.8 million players recording at least 100 hours of playtime. Additionally, the spin-off Nightreign has reportedly reached 7.8 million copies sold.
