Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition trailer arrives for Nintendo Switch 2

Bandai Namco has released a new “Story Spotlight” trailer for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, ahead of its scheduled launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28. The trailer showcases gameplay footage running on the new hardware and provides an overview of the game's narrative and mechanics.

Developed by FromSoftware, the title features a vast world known as the Lands Between. The story follows the Tarnished, an exile summoned back to the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord following the event known as the Shattering. This version of the game also includes the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which takes place in the Land of Shadow.

The project involves collaboration between director Hidetaka Miyazaki and author George R. R. Martin. While the porting process faced some delays, the release is confirmed for the end of this month.
