Elder Scrolls Online developers announce Dragonknight class nerfs

Zenimax Online Studios has acknowledged that the Dragonknight class in Elder Scrolls Online has become overpowered, particularly within PvP gameplay, due to recent reworks and the Class Mastery system. To address this, developers are preparing significant nerfs ahead of the Update 51 release.

Planned adjustments include reducing resource restoration from Core of Flame and decreasing healing from Heart of Flame. Additionally, Seething Fury damage in PvP will be reduced by half, and Earthspike Mantle will now provide a flat damage bonus exclusively against monsters rather than players. The studio stated they intend to focus on the quality of the experience through targeted actions rather than strict calendar deadlines.
