Elderly Home and Funeral Home Upgrades Funded in Santa Rosa and San Rafael

The Congregación de las Hermanas de los Ancianos Desamparados is constructing a residential care facility for 100 seniors in Santa Rosa, split equally between women and men. The project, now in its first phase with a perimeter fence, is being financed through a community campaign that asks donors to contribute the equivalent of a 25‑kg bag of cement, valued at $8,000.

In San Rafael, Mexico, the municipal government and the Comité Pro Obras invested more than 180,000 pesos to renovate the local funeral home, improving safety and functionality for grieving families. The same administration also launched a separate road‑paving project in the nearby community of La Cruz, allocating 4.9 million pesos to upgrade the street, drainage, water supply and sidewalks.
