Elderly Man Kills Intruder in Aracaju, Brazil

Police in Aracaju, Sergipe confirmed that a man who broke into the home of an elderly couple died after being shot by the homeowner. The suspect jumped the wall of the residence in the Atalaia neighborhood and entered the house. The elderly victim warned that police had been called, but the intruder attempted to attack, prompting the homeowner to draw a revolver he had owned for 30 years and fire. The shooter was taken to medical care but succumbed to his injuries. The Military Police seized the revolver and five rounds, and the Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Institute of Criminalistics carried out the necessary procedures.
