Elderly Polish residents Anna Krawiec and Bronisława Siok pass away

Two elderly Polish women, recognized as some of the country's oldest residents, have passed away.

Anna Krawiec, a resident of Ostróda, died at the age of 102. Born in 1924, she was a witness to much of Poland's modern history. The Mayor of Ostróda, Rafał Dąbrowski, noted that she had recently celebrated her 102nd birthday and described her as a person full of energy and warmth.

Bronisława Siok, from the Łyse municipality, passed away at the age of 109. She was the oldest resident of the Ostrołęka district and ranked 7th among the oldest living people in Poland. Having lived through World War I, World War II, the PRL era, and Poland's entry into the European Union, she was remembered by her community as a kind and cheerful individual.
