Republic Day celebrations held at autism center and nursing home

Various institutions held celebrations to mark the 103rd anniversary of the Republic Day. At the Mehmet and Nazife Taşker Autism Center, students participated in events featuring poetry, dance, and music. The event was attended by Minister of Labor and Social Security Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu and Social Services Department Director Alev Ecevit. Ecevit emphasized the importance of a society where no one is left behind, while Hasipoğlu highlighted the significance of the Republic of Türkiye to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

In İzmir, residents of the Zübeyde Hanım Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center celebrated with a ball. The program included poetry readings, anthems, and a traditional Zeybek folk dance performance by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality team. Officials and residents gathered to honor Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and discuss the values of independence and sovereignty represented by the Republic.
