Elderly women found dead in separate incidents in Argentina

Two separate incidents involving the deaths of elderly women have been reported in Argentina.

In Rosario, 86-year-old Clorinda Medina was found dead in her home in the Ludueña neighborhood. Authorities have classified the case as a ‘violent death’ after finding signs of physical assault, a large amount of blood, and a bag over the victim's head. Due to the disarray in the residence, investigators are looking into whether the death was linked to a robbery. An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the exact cause of death.

In Reconquista, 72-year-old Alicia Isabel Galarza was found dead in a ditch in the La Cortada area. Galarza, who suffered from Alzheimer's, had been missing since September 8. While the circumstances of her death remain under investigation, her family has expressed frustration regarding the perceived inadequacy of the official search operations conducted during her disappearance.
