Elders appoints René Dedoncker as managing director

René Dedoncker has assumed the role of managing director at Elders, succeeding Mark Allison. Allison’s departure concludes a 12-year tenure as managing director and a prior two-year term as board chairman.

Following a structured succession plan, the Craig Mostyn Group announced that Allison has been appointed as a non-executive director. He is slated to replace current chairman Neil Kearney when Kearney retires in December. Allison will receive a base salary of $1.15 million in his new position.

Neil Kearney noted that Allison’s extensive expertise in the Australian agribusiness sector would be a significant asset to the Craig Mostyn Group. Meanwhile, Dedoncker stated his immediate priority is to engage with the company’s employees, customers, and partners to understand their perspectives.
