Elders executive Mark Allison departs with multi-million dollar share stake
Mark Allison has concluded a 17-year tenure in leadership roles at the agribusiness Elders. His current share stake in the company is valued at approximately $8.5 million, making him the largest private, non-institutional shareholder with roughly 0.6% of the company's register.
In addition to his current holdings, Allison is potentially owed 702,000 unvested performance rights. At a recent share price of $6.55, these rights are valued at approximately $4.6 million, though the final amount remains subject to the share price at the time of legal granting.
Allison will remain with Elders in an advisory capacity until February to assist the new chief executive, Rene Dedoncker, who joined from Fonterra. Allison has also been appointed as chairman of the West Australian agribusiness Craig Mostyn Group.
