Eldorado promotes rural tourism through digital marketing training
Local tourism providers in the Eldorado department of Misiones are undergoing professionalization through new digital marketing training. Organized jointly by the Ministry of Tourism of Misiones and the local municipality, the initiative aims to strengthen the region's rural tourism sector.
Led by marketing specialist Gerardo Romero, the training sessions held at the Eldorado Municipal Multipurpose Hall focused on practical tools for social media management and digital communication. The goal is to increase the visibility of rural experiences—such as stays, rural circuits, and cultural activities—to attract nature-oriented visitors and facilitate connections with travel agencies and operators.
Luciana Quiroz, the Director of Tourism for Eldorado, stated that the training is aligned with ongoing efforts to consolidate the department's rural tourism project, allowing local entrepreneurs to better articulate and offer their services to interested operators.
