Eldoret Kimumu AMS Affordable Housing Project nears completion

The Kimumu AMS Affordable Housing Project in Eldoret is nearing completion, having reached the superstructure stage. The 226-unit development is designed to address the rising demand for housing caused by Eldoret’s rapid population growth and economic expansion.

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo stated that major structural works are substantially complete, with current efforts focused on external works. The development is intended to function as an integrated neighborhood, offering a mix of social, affordable, and market-rate housing units.

In addition to residential units, the project will include commercial spaces, parking, pedestrian walkways, and recreational facilities. It is part of a broader Affordable Housing Programme in Uasin Gishu County, which encompasses other projects such as Pioneer, Kidiwa, Eldoret Railway City, and Saroiyot.
