Eleanor Givens wins Swiss Ladies Open after 210 LET starts

Eleanor Givens secured her first Ladies European Tour (LET) title at the Swiss Ladies Open, held at the Migros Golfpark Holzhäusern. After 210 appearances and 15 seasons on the circuit, the 37-year-old English golfer finished with a total of 13 under par, overcoming a four-stroke deficit on the final day with a bogey-free 66.

Givens finished one stroke ahead of a three-way tie for second place involving Germany’s Alexandra Försterling, Ireland’s Anna Foster, and Australia’s Whitney Hillier, all of whom finished at 12 under par. Försterling, a former winner of the event, earned €22,750 for her performance, which moved her to fifth in the Order of Merit.

Anna Foster recorded a career-best runner-up finish, earning €22,750 and climbing from 61st to 34th in the Order of Merit. The tournament, which featured a total prize pool of €350,000, saw overnight leader Kajsa Arwefjall fall to fifth place after a final round of 72.
