Çelebi Havacılık receives two international DEI awards

Çelebi Havacılık has received two international awards for its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The company earned a Silver Stevie Award in the ‘Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Program of the Year’ category at the Stevie International Business Awards, and a Bronze Award from the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards for its ‘Best in Leading Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Initiatives’.

Operating in five countries, the company focuses on creating an equitable environment for a workforce that is 27% female and 53% composed of professionals under the age of 30. Key initiatives include inclusive recruitment, cultural awareness training, reverse mentoring, and efforts to increase female representation in traditionally male-dominated leadership roles.

Internal metrics show measurable improvements in employee experience. According to the company’s 2025 DEI research, the perception of inclusivity within the corporate culture rose from 53% in 2024 to 71% in 2025. Additionally, the percentage of employees reporting they can ‘be themselves’ at work increased from 84% to 90%, while perceptions of psychological safety rose from 74% to 83%.
