Elecom launches MAGKEEP 7-in-1 magnetic docking station

Elecom has released the MAGKEEP 7-in-1 Docking Station (DST-N071BPBK), a device designed to attach to the back of laptops using a provided magnetic ring. This allows users to carry connected external devices while on the move.

The docking station features a 7-in-1 configuration, including one USB-A port, one USB Type-C data port, one USB Type-C Power Delivery port (supporting up to 100W input), an HDMI port supporting up to 4K/60Hz, a 3.5mm stereo mini jack, and both SD and microSD card slots.

Constructed with an aluminum housing for heat dissipation, the device is also compatible with smartphones, enabling quick data transfers from cameras to external storage. The product is priced at 8,980 yen and is available through retailers such as Amazon, Bic Camera, and the Elecom Direct Shop. Users should note that an AC charger is not included and the device will not function on BIOS or pre-OS screens.
