Elecom launches TouchBook Smart keyboard cases for iPad

Elecom has launched the ‘TouchBook Smart’, a new line of keyboard cases designed to protect iPads while enhancing productivity. The product features an integrated trackpad with gesture support, a backlit keyboard, and a stepless adjustable stand.

The lineup includes two primary connection types: a magnet-only model that draws power directly from the iPad via USB Type-C, and a 2-way model that supports both magnetic and Bluetooth connections. The Bluetooth capability allows users to switch between the iPad and other devices like smartphones or computers.

Key design elements include a pantograph-style keyboard with curved key surfaces to reduce typing errors and a detachable design that allows the keyboard and case to be used independently. The series supports various iPad models, including the 11-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air, and the 10.9-inch iPad, and is compatible with magnetic touch pens.
