Elecom to release selfie mini camera for 5,480 yen
Elecom is set to release a “selfie mini camera” in early September, priced at 5,480 yen. The device features a rotating camera component that allows users to view themselves on a built-in display while taking photos.
The camera offers five resolution settings ranging from 3 million to 12 million pixels, catering to both sharp imagery and retro-style aesthetics. It includes a digital 4x zoom, an LED flash for low-light conditions, and six color filters, including monochrome, sepia, and vintage.
Users can transfer photos and Full HD videos to smartphones via a USB Type-C cable, a feature compatible with iPhone 15 and later models. The device is designed for portability with an attached keychain and requires a separate microSD card for storage. A full charge provides approximately 1.5 hours of usage time.
