Election Commission opens inspection of supplementary electoral roll
The Election Commission (SPR) has opened a 30-day public inspection period for the August 2026 supplementary electoral roll, which remains open until October 24. The updated list includes over 80,000 entries.
Specifically, 43,309 citizens became eligible voters through the automatic registration mechanism after turning 18 in August. Additionally, the roll reflects changes for 34,411 existing voters regarding constituency data, and 2,728 adjustments to voting categories or voter identities.
Citizens are encouraged to verify their personal details, such as names and registration specifics, via the SPR official website, MySPR Semak, or the MySPR mobile application. If a name is missing, individuals can submit an appeal using Form C through the online system or at state election offices free of charge. Voters may also lodge objections to constituency transfers by submitting Form D and paying a 10 Ringgit fee, with a limit of 20 objections per person.
