Election season activities in Tillamook County and Maine

In Tillamook County, election officials report that over 1,000 ballots have been received as the midterm election approaches. Voters are encouraged to return ballots via ballot boxes or to mail them by October 27th to ensure timely processing.

In Portland, Maine, a local sandwich shop named The Local Press drew attention for using political-themed signs as a marketing tool. While intended as lighthearted commentary on the election season, the shop's approach faced criticism from some members of the community.
