Candidate nominations for the British Columbia provincial snap election closed on October 3, 2026. According to Elections BC, there are 335 candidates contesting the election across 93 ridings.

The BC Conservatives are the only political party to field candidates in every riding. The BC NDP, led by David Eby, has candidates in 92 ridings, missing only Peace River North.

Other participating parties include the BC Green Party with 73 candidates, CentreBC with 35, OneBC with 33, and several smaller parties such as the Libertarians and the Communist Party of BC. Additionally, 15 candidates are running as independents or unaffiliated. The provincial election is scheduled for October 24, 2026.
