Electoral Justice sets carreatas rules for Brasiléia and Epitaciolândia

The Electoral Justice system has established specific regulations for political campaign carreatas scheduled for October 2 and 3 in Brasiléia and Epitaciolândia, Acre. Following a meeting with campaign organizers, security forces, and transit authorities, officials signed a commitment term to prevent public disruption during the final stages of the elections.

A central component of the agreement is the restriction of the José Augusto de Araújo Bridge, commonly known as the Ponte Metálica. As the sole road link between the two municipalities, the single-lane bridge will be prohibited from hosting carreatas in any format, including convoys. Furthermore, the bridge and its access points cannot be used as sites for gatherings, departures, or conclusions of the events.

These measures aim to maintain the flow of regular traffic and ensure that emergency vehicles, such as ambulances and police cars, can navigate the corridor without obstruction. Individual vehicles traveling between the cities must follow standard traffic signals and flow patterns.
