Electric Castle launches third clothing upcycling campaign

Electric Castle and NEPI Rockcastle have launched the third edition of their clothing collection and reuse campaign, titled ‘It’s not goodbye, it’s worn at last’. The initiative aims to promote sustainability through upcycling.

Collection points are scheduled at Promenada Mall Bucharest until October 11, City Park Mall Constanța from October 15 to 21, and Promenada Mall Sibiu from October 24 to 31. Participants can donate various types of clean clothing, though footwear, underwear, and accessories are excluded.

Collected items will undergo sanitization and sorting. Reusable clothing will be sent to the Velements workshop to be transformed into a capsule collection, which will later be donated. Materials that cannot be repurposed into garments will be converted into fibers and stuffing for toys.
