Electric Picnic festival returns to Stradbally with TG4 coverage

The Electric Picnic festival is set to return to Stradbally from August 28 to 30. TG4 has confirmed its return to the event with ‘Beo ón Electric Picnic’, a special ninety-minute broadcast featuring live music performances in the Irish language. The program will include artists such as HipHap Gaelach, Rua Rí, Clada, Burnchurch, and Bog Bodies, hosted by presenters John Sharpson and Síomha Ní Ruairc.

Regarding the event's conditions, meteorologist Alan O’Reilly has advised attendees to prepare for uncertain weather. While a low-pressure system may bring heavy rainfall earlier in the week, the forecast for the festival weekend remains changeable, with an increased risk of showers and rain. Attendees are cautioned not to rely on recent dry summer weather when planning for the event.
