Electric Picnic weather forecast predicts mixed conditions for Stradbally

The Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally, Co Laois, is facing a weekend of changeable weather. Forecasters from Met Éireann indicate that while a major washout is not expected, attendees should prepare for a mix of sunshine, showers, and cooler temperatures.

Friday is expected to see temperatures around 21°C with sunny or bright spells, though scattered showers and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms remain. Saturday is predicted to have a wet start with rain in the morning, clearing to sunshine in the evening as temperatures reach approximately 18°C.

Due to night-time temperatures potentially dipping to around 9°C, festival-goers are advised to pack warm layers, waterproof clothing, and sturdy footwear such as wellies to manage the mixed conditions.
