Electric vehicle brands expand presence in the UK
Electric vehicle brands are expanding their presence in the United Kingdom. AliExpress has launched a new Yadea electric two-wheeler range, offering three models including electric mopeds and motorcycles. The service includes a local delivery scheme promising arrival within four working days. This move follows rising interest in powered two-wheelers, with Motorcycle Industry Association data showing a 17% year-on-year increase in registrations for August 2026.
Simultaneously, California-based e-bike brand Aventon has officially entered the UK market. Following a previous expansion into Germany, Aventon is implementing a hybrid retail strategy in the UK that combines direct-to-consumer digital sales with a network of independent bike dealers. The initial UK product range will feature urban, trekking, and performance e-bikes.
