Electric vehicle subsidies launched in Croatia
The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund in Croatia is opening applications for electric vehicle subsidies on October 28. The fund has allocated 20 million euros, which is expected to cover approximately 3,000 new vehicles.
Subsidies for electric passenger cars can reach up to 9,000 euros, capped at 40 percent of the vehicle's price. Several models are positioned to fall below the 15,000 euro threshold after applying these incentives, including the Hyundai Inster Urban Style, Citroën ë-C3 Plus Urban Range, Geely E2 Pro, and Renault Twingo E-Tech electric.
The Dacia Spring Electric is also available on the Croatian market, with prices starting from 11,490 euros when utilizing state incentives. This model features a 60 kW motor, a 27.5 kWh LFP battery providing a range of up to 250 km, and offers a 5-year vehicle warranty alongside an 8-year battery warranty.
