Electrical safety warning regarding high-power appliance usage

Using multiple high-power appliances in a single power strip can lead to overheating, insulation damage, and fire hazards. The number of available sockets does not determine the load capacity; rather, the total wattage of active devices is the critical factor.

Two high-risk combinations include:

1. Kitchen appliances: Electric kettles, induction cooktops, air fryers, and microwaves. These devices often consume between 1,500W and 2,000W each. Operating even two or three simultaneously can exceed the capacity of standard extension cords.

2. Personal care and heating tools: Space heaters, irons, hair dryers, and hair styling tools. These heat-generating devices are frequently grouped together in bedrooms or dressing areas, posing a significant risk of overloading electrical points.
