Electricity Company of Ghana announces power outages in Tema and Central Region

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced power disruptions affecting multiple regions due to both unplanned network faults and scheduled maintenance.

In the Tema Region, an unplanned outage caused by a network fault has impacted areas including Comm. 17, Timber Market, Resolve Hospital, Bakeshop, Marina Mall at Spintex, and Baatsonaa. Engineers are currently working to restore supply to these communities.

Additionally, planned maintenance is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Central Region. Affected communities include Komenda, Kissi, Ayensudo, Ampenyi, Elmina, Eguafo, Aburansa, Besease, Ebu Krom, Agona Town, Breman, Iture, Duakro, and Amamuma.
