Electrocharge opens new fast charging station near Greek border
Electrocharge has expanded its electric vehicle charging network with a new fast charging station located at a Petrol gas station in Kulata. This site is situated near the border crossing with Greece, serving one of the country’s busiest international routes.
The new location, combined with an existing Electrocharge station in Simitli, is designed to facilitate easier long-distance travel for electric vehicle drivers traveling between Bulgaria and Greece. The strategic placement allows drivers to charge their vehicles immediately before crossing the border.
Electrocharge, a network initiated by Electrohold in late 2024, aims to make long-distance EV travel more accessible and predictable by developing infrastructure at key strategic locations and major transport directions.
