Electrolux Peru reports significant sales growth in H1 2026

Electrolux reported significant sales growth in Peru during the first half of 2026, achieving a double-digit increase compared to the same period in 2025. The company attributed this performance primarily to the refrigeration and cooking categories. Pedro Kuljevan, commercial manager for Electrolux Peru, noted that the products are well-suited for modern housing trends, specifically smaller apartments with open kitchens.

A major driver of this success is the digital channel. Electrolux Peru operates without its own physical stores, relying instead on retailers and online sales. The company leads the Andean region in online sales participation, with digital transactions accounting for approximately 30% of total sales, a level comparable to markets like Brazil and Chile.

Additionally, the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) reports a surge in demand for refrigeration products. Between January and July, demand grew by 28% to 30% compared to the previous year. This trend is expected to continue, with projections suggesting growth could exceed 38% by the end of 2026 due to an atypical summer caused by the El Niño phenomenon.
