Maribor police seize cannabis-infused e-cigarettes from minor

Police in Maribor, Slovenia, have seized 15 electronic cigarettes containing cannabis during intensified surveillance operations. The devices were reportedly handed from a 19-year-old to a minor with the intent of further resale.

Authorities have detained both individuals following house searches. The Maribor Police Administration warned of the significant health risks associated with e-cigarettes of unknown origin, noting they may contain THC, synthetic cannabinoids, or other harmful substances. The police emphasized the vulnerability of minors to such products, which are often obtained through informal channels like social media or personal contacts.

A criminal complaint will be filed with the Maribor District Prosecutor's Office as investigations continue.
