Electronic music artists embrace trance revival with new releases

Electronic music artists are embracing faster tempos and emotional melodies as part of a growing trance revival.

DJ HEARTSTRING has announced their debut full-length album, ‘Sentimental Ultra’, scheduled for release on November 13 via Steel City Dance Discs. To promote the album, the duo released a title track featuring a collaboration with Spriitzz (Tiarnan), which blends high-speed percussion with trance-leaning synths.

In a similar movement toward high-energy production, Tiësto has released the single ‘Hard To Be Around’ in collaboration with Berlin-based artists CLEOPARD2000 and CH4YN. Released via Musical Freedom and Atlantic Records, the track operates at 143 BPM, combining euphoric trance melodies with driving basslines and emotional vocals exploring themes of self-doubt.
