Electronic waste collection drives organized in Zelów and Gliwice

Various electronic waste collection initiatives are being organized in Poland. In Zelów, the Parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa is hosting a collection drive running until August 24. Accepted items include large household appliances such as washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, as well as smaller devices like vacuum cleaners, irons, toasters, and various IT equipment including computers, laptops, and mobile phones. Notably, light bulbs, lamps, and toners are excluded from this specific collection.

In the Gliwice region, mobile e-waste collections are scheduled for August 22. These events will take place in Łąkę (ul. Radosna) from 10:00 to 12:00 and in Ostropa (ul. Daszyńskiego) from 12:30 to 14:30. Residents are advised to bring items to specially marked vehicles operated by EKOMAX. For larger appliances, direct home pickup may be available through the contractor. Additionally, residents can utilize the municipal Selective Waste Collection Point (PSZOK) on Rybnicka Street year-round at no cost.
