Jaunystė festival blues and jazz Miles Davis centenary Elektrėnai Lithuanian music festivals

The Jaunystė blues and jazz festival is returning to the ‘Vaikų pasaulis’ amphitheater in Elektrėnai on August 28–29. This year’s edition features two distinct musical days, with Friday dedicated to blues and Saturday focused on jazz.

The jazz celebrations are centered around the upcoming centenary of Miles Davis. To mark the occasion, the festival will include a musical parade through the city featuring African drums, a choir, cyclists, and a procession of vintage automobiles. The vintage cars will also be displayed at the festival site.

The blues program on Friday includes performances by Dancing The Blues, G. K. G. Blues Cats, Blues Shades, and Pavel Arakelian & The Bourbon Brothers. An acoustic session by the Jutas × Bukartas duo will conclude the evening at the POMO gastrobar.
