Elena Sofia Ricci criticizes late Rai1 prime-time scheduling

Actress Elena Sofia Ricci has criticized the late broadcasting hours of prime-time programming on Rai1, describing the delay as a “lack of respect” for audiences, including families and students. Speaking during a press conference for the third season of 'I Casi di Teresa Battaglia', which premieres October 12, Ricci argued that the current schedule effectively pushes fiction into late-night slots.

Leonardo Ferrara, head of Rai Fiction, responded by stating that the issue is a systemic trend across generalist television rather than a decision unique to Rai. He noted that news programming often extends until 21:30, contributing to the shift. Ferrara added that the network is working to move prime-time slots to an earlier hour to better accommodate linear television viewers.
