Elena Vásquez Díaz to Represent Talca at Miss República Chile

Elena Vásquez Díaz, a second‑year student at Colegio Concepción de Talca, was crowned Miss Teen Talca 2026 and will represent the city in the national Miss República Chile competition. She praised the months of preparation, emphasizing leadership, empathy and responsibility, and expressed gratitude for the support of her school and community.

Former Miss Chile and television presenter Nataly Chilet spoke about the upcoming Miss Universo Chile 2026, noting that the contest is not rigged and calling for greater transparency by publishing judges' scores. She highlighted the professional preparation required for contestants, citing her own experience after winning Miss Earth 2005, and suggested that future Chilean representatives need strong stage presence, public appeal and media impact to succeed internationally.
