Eleni Korani leaves RTL art show ‘A legjobb ajánlat’

Eleni Korani, an art dealer and collector, has decided to leave the second season of the RTL art discovery show, ‘A legjobb ajánlat’.

Reports indicate that Korani’s departure stems from her refusal to work alongside Árpád Polgár, a seasoned art dealer who was brought in to replace Róbert Alföldi. The two individuals have reportedly been in conflict for decades. Korani had previously requested that the original cast of five remain unchanged for the new season, a condition the producers did not meet when they invited Polgár to join the team.

Korani was a significant figure in the first season, spending over ten million forints on art pieces and securing the season's largest bid for a painting by István Csók. The second season will feature new members, including Polgár, designer Laura Czeglédi, and existing members Dávid Kováts, Péter Pápai, and Péter Szendrő.
