Eleni Krita reveals €800 pay for first season of Greek series “Sto Para Pente”

Greek actress Eleni Krita disclosed that she received only €800 for her role as Marilena in the first season of the popular TV series “Sto Para Pente”. In an interview she said she accepted the part mainly to return to television, noting that the low fee was outweighed by the opportunity to work with director Antonis Angelopoulos, who had previously collaborated with her.

Krita added that after the initial season the remuneration for the cast increased and the exposure from the show opened further professional opportunities.
