Eleni Tsaligopoulou to headline free concert in Farkadona on Aug 7

The Region of Thessaly is hosting a free concert by renowned Greek singer Eleni Tsaligopoulou and her ensemble in the village of Farkadona on Friday, 7 August, starting at 21:00. The event, part of the "Cultural Summer 2026" programme, is supported by the Municipality of Farkadona and will take place at the local venue known as “Pazaraki”.

Organisers say the concert is a preview for the unified Thessaly Culture Festival planned for the next summer, aiming to celebrate enduring Greek folk and popular music. Tsaligopoulou, celebrated for collaborations with composers such as George Dalaras and Nikos Portokaloglou, tours Greece and abroad and is considered one of the leading voices of contemporary Greek song.
