Elephant Park regeneration project completes in London
The Elephant Park regeneration project in London has reached completion following a 15-year development programme. The project has delivered more than 3,000 homes alongside extensive commercial and community spaces.
MEP engineering consultancy Wallace Whittle, which has been part of the masterplan team since 2011 alongside Lendlease and MAKE Architects, marked the completion of the final residential phase, The Wilderly. Throughout the project's duration, the engineering strategy had to adapt to evolving building regulations, fire-safety standards, and sustainability metrics.
Key milestones of the development include Trafalgar Place, which received a Stirling Prize nomination, and One The Elephant, a 37-storey tower. The project spanned seven major phases, including various masterplan plots with budgets ranging from £90M to £150M.
