Elettra Lamborghini and Afrojack's Eight-Day Rule Keeps Marriage Strong
Italian singer‑TV presenter Elettra Lamborghini and Dutch DJ Afrojack say their relationship survives busy touring and recording schedules by never staying apart for more than eight days. The couple, together since 2018 and married in 2020 on Lake Como, originally tried a twelve‑day limit before tightening it to eight days, which they claim allows them to maintain intimacy despite frequent travel.
When they cannot be together in person, they rely on daily video calls and FaceTime, with Afrojack saying he calls his wife two to three times a day and never ends the day without a bedtime call. The rule also means they plan trips so that the eight‑day threshold is not exceeded, even though Afrojack logged around 220 flights in a single year. Their routine includes simple shared activities such as watching movies at home and doing puzzles, which they say reinforce their bond.
