Elevator Records Launches in Uralla, New England, Australia

Finn Mennell opened Elevator Records at Shop Three, 94 Bridge Street in Uralla about a month ago. The independent store sells vinyl records, CDs, band biography books and T‑shirts, and offers ultrasonic record cleaning for customers. Mennell, originally from London and formerly based in Melbourne, moved to the New England region of New South Wales during the COVID‑19 pandemic to be closer to family and turn his lifelong hobby into a business. He aims for the shop to become a community hub where collectors and new listeners can meet and share their love of music.

The launch is part of a broader wave of new ventures in the region, including Millie Rose’s Eylaan Creative studio, which is bringing international beauty‑and‑brand expertise to nearby Armidale.
