Elevra Lithium completes sale of Ghana project and reports record production

Elevra Lithium Limited has completed the sale of its entire interest in the Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana to Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. The transaction, which received necessary Ghanaian government approvals, resulted in a cash consideration of US$71 million for Elevra before fees and taxes. The sale removes Elevra’s funding obligations for the Ewoyaa Project, allowing the company to focus on its North American assets, including the North American Lithium (NAL) brownfield expansion and development at Moblan.

In its quarterly activities report, Elevra announced record ore mining and processing figures at North American Lithium. Ore mined increased by 25% quarter-on-quarter to 466,499 wet metric tonnes. Spodumene concentrate production rose to 54,907 dry metric tonnes, marking the second-highest quarterly production on record. The company reported US$74 million in revenue from spodumene sales, with unit operating costs decreasing by 14% to US$780 per tonne sold.
