Elgato and Adaptalux release new lighting and control hardware

Elgato has released the Key Light Air Mk. 2, an improved LED panel designed for video conferencing and portrait photography. The device features adjustable color temperatures ranging from 2900K to 7000K, a color rendering index (CRI) of over 94, and a brightness of up to 2100 lumens. It can be powered via USB-C, a power adapter, or a power bank, making it portable for outdoor use. The unit includes a tripod mount, a MagSafe ring, and a 250 cm USB cable, with a retail price of 149.99 Euro.

Adaptalux has expanded its modular macro photography lighting system with the introduction of the Pod Mini 2.0. This compact controller serves as a more affordable and flexible alternative to the existing Control Pod 3.0. While the Control Pod offers five connections, the Pod Mini 2.0 provides a single connection, allowing users to position multiple light sources independently via Bluetooth. The device features built-in brightness controls, a rechargeable battery with up to eight hours of life, and USB-C charging. The Pod Mini 2.0 is priced at approximately 102.30 USD.
