Eli Junior Kroupi attracts PSG and Barcelona interest despite foot injury

French 20‑year‑old striker Eli Junior Kroupi, currently under contract with AFC Bournemouth, suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal that will keep him out for three to four months. Despite the setback, Paris Saint‑Germain’s manager Luis Enrique has praised his qualities and the club continues to monitor the player, whose market value was estimated at €70 million in June. Barcelona president Joan Laporta has also expressed strong interest, seeing Kroupi as a long‑term solution to replace the departing Robert Lewandowski, and says the club is willing to wait for his recovery. Bournemouth, however, retains control of the transfer, having placed an £85 million valuation on the forward and indicating that any move will require the club’s agreement. No deal has been announced yet.
