Eli Willits promoted to Double-A by Washington Nationals

The Washington Nationals have promoted top prospect Eli Willits to Double-A Harrisburg. Willits, the team’s number one overall draft pick in 2025, is moving up after successful stints in Single-A Fredericksburg and High-A Wilmington.

During his time in Fredericksburg, Willits recorded a .300/.397/.360 slash line. This season, he maintained a .300/.418/.500 average across 47 games before moving to Wilmington, where he hit seven home runs and recorded 33 RBIs in 64 contests.
