One week after a news helicopter crash in Chatsworth, the fiancé of reporter Eliana Moreno released a statement expressing his grief and gratitude for the community support received following the tragedy.

The September 15 accident involving an NBC4 helicopter resulted in the deaths of Moreno, pilot George Marciniw, and a man on the ground. In his tribute, Moreno’s fiancé described her passion for her profession and shared reflections on the future they had planned together.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has indicated that footage from the helicopter prior to the crash is considered ‘most important evidence’ in their ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
