Eliel Malca regains mobility after spinal injury sustained in combat

Eliel Malca, a captain in the Givati Brigade, has successfully regained the ability to walk following a severe spinal injury sustained during the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023. During the conflict, Malca was struck by grenade shrapnel while fighting terrorists in southern Israel, resulting in significant blood loss and the loss of his mobility.

During his rehabilitation, Malca visited other wounded soldiers in wheelchairs to offer encouragement. Following a long recovery process, he was able to stand on his own feet during his wedding ceremony.
