Elif Çetin wins bronze at International Judo Tournament in Çankırı
Elif Çetin, an 11-year-old judoka from Kırklareli, won a bronze medal in the 48 kilogram Super Minikler category at the International Judo Tournament held in Çankırı. The competition featured participants from 8 countries and 25 different clubs.
Çetin, who has been practicing judo for six years, expressed her ambition to join the national team and compete in the Olympic and World Judo Championships. Her coach, Ali Çatak from the Kırklareli Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, stated that their immediate goals include securing a championship at next year’s Minikler Turkey Championship and representing the country at the Balkan Championship.
