Elijah Adebayo joins Bristol City on two-year deal

Striker Elijah Adebayo has joined Bristol City on a permanent two-year contract following his departure from Luton Town. The 28-year-old forward, who will wear the number 45 shirt, signed a deal running until June 2028.

Adebayo arrives after a six-season tenure at Luton, where he made 184 appearances and scored 47 goals, contributing to the club’s promotion to the Premier League via the 2023 Championship Play-Offs. He is the tenth summer signing for Bristol City.

Bristol City manager Michael Skubala noted that Adebayo provides a different dimension to the team’s attacking options. Adebayo expressed enthusiasm for the move, citing the club’s positive atmosphere and the manager’s clear tactical vision as key factors in his decision.
